Some QuestionSCan you make a customized blank?Yes, just ask, custom stringers or alternate foam densities no problem. And if a certain blank plug is required and can be ordered regularly, we have the factory space for adding your mold to our production line. What type of foam do you use?We use TDI based Polyurethane foam. As different companies in the industry experiment with other materials for surfboard cores, primarily MDI based systems, it is obvious that nothing can compete with the time tested performance of TDI surfboard blanks. TDI foam is super white, easy to shape and has far superior flex than all other foams used for surfboard production. Isn't TDI dangerous? While TDI is used in the production of virtually all kinds of polyurethane foam, TDI is consumed during the production process and therefore does not remain in the finished product. Companies who claim to make a safer product by using TDI alternatives are using scare tactics to sell their foam. Where is Quiver Foam Located? We are located in Chiang Mai, Thailand. Our management staff are foreign, a couple of surfers from Australia and the USA, who live and work to make sure that the quality of our surfboard blanks is kept top quality and consistent.
